Volunteer Helper (Bedfordshire)
With your support we can do even more! General helpers provide vital assistance with varied tasks. In this role you could get involved in a range of activities which will help with the day-to-day running of our charity, keep our members engaged, attract new supporters or support our busy office.
Volunteering with us is a fantastic way to help us champion environmental issues such as the climate emergency, renewable energy, biodiversity, sustainable transport and promoting a countryside for all.
No two days are the same in our charity and our small team of staff often need support to get things done. This could be helping with mailings, meeting and greeting at workshops and events, researching information, inputting data...the list is endless so there could be something to match your current skills or help you learn new ones.
This is a very flexible role and can be done from our office in Bedford or remotely on an ad-hoc or regular basis. Whatever suits you!
Our friendly team will provide you with training and support to develop in your role. You’ll gain valuable skills and experience as you take part in the tasks which are of interest to you, such as campaigning and administration.
We provide out-of-pocket travel expenses should this be required.
