Are you a dab hand with a Google search, do you enjoy reading and get a thrill from expanding your knowledge on a range of topics? Up for a little investigation work? If you love the countryside and want to make a real difference we are in need of someone who can assist our team.

CPRE Buckinghamshire are seeking Fact/Finder Research Volunteers to join our team. This role will play an important part of supporting the CPRE team, helping get our messages across to the public. With 50,000 supporters nationwide, and many of our own local members, what CPRE has to say is important.

While the areas of focus will be varied, predominantly you will be working alongside the planning team. Some examples of research could include searching for current development applications affecting green belt or AONB land, and basic facts and figures about the local economy, geography, transport etc. Land use and farming types across the area, and finding the number of planning applications where a decision has not been reached within the given period are also useful.

This is a home-based role with some attendance at meetings, including online meetings and events. We provide out-of-pocket travel expenses should this be required.
