Trustee (Bedfordshire)
We’re passionate about making the countryside in Bedfordshire a better place for everyone to enjoy. Our vibrant team of volunteers inspire people to care for the countryside and enjoy the benefits it brings wherever they live.
Joining our board is a fantastic way to help us champion environmental issues such as the climate emergency, renewable energy, biodiversity and sustainable transport. As a trustee you’ll have an essential role in contributing towards the direction of our charity. Trustees also help to provide continuity, govern the charity and guide our future work.
We are keen to hear from people with knowledge related to the environment, nature conservation and biodiversity, climate change or farming.
You will be home-based, carrying out activities around your other commitments and attending meetings either virtually or at our office in Bedford. As a guide, we anticipate this voluntary role will take on average 2-3 hours per week including attendance at six meetings per year and the Annual General Meeting.
Our friendly team will provide you with training and support to develop in your role. You’ll gain valuable skills and experience in charity governance.
