What will you be doing?
- Researching potential future sources of support including trusts and institutional funders
- Tailoring and submitting applications to grant providers
- Assisting with producing project progress reports with a level of detail suited to the funder
- Involving with other income streams, including digital fundraising, sponsored events (focused on promoting climate-friendly actions) and establishing more sustainable funding through regular giving from individuals
What are we looking for?
Essential (E) or Desirable(D). Please provide examples or evidence where possible.
- Excellent written communication skills (E)
- Strong research skills (E)
- Good interpersonal skills (E)
- Educated to at least degree level (E)
- Strong understanding of environmental issues (E)
- Some academic background related to environmental issues at either degree or masters level (D)
- Past experience of policy, advocacy or research work (E)
- Have access to a computer and the internet at home and be confident using them (E)
Time commitment
- 2 days (~14 hours) a week.
- There is an optional one day in the office on Tuesdays or Thursdays where convenient.
- A minimum of 8 weeks commitment is preferred.
