Volunteer fundraiser - bid writer (Staffordshire)

We’re passionate about making the countryside in Staffordshire a better place for everyone to enjoy. Our vibrant team of volunteers inspire people to care for the countryside and enjoy the benefits it brings wherever they live.

Volunteering with us is a fantastic way to help us champion environmental issues such as the climate emergency, renewable energy, biodiversity and sustainable transport.

With your support as a fundraising volunteer we can do even more! Bid-writing volunteers research possible sources of funding and write applications to trusts and funds. We have a funding plan which was produced by a consultant a few years ago but are short of people with time to look into funding opportunities. We ideally would like someone who could apply for about four grants per year, of which hopefully at least one will be successful.

Our friendly team will provide you with training and support to develop in your role. You’ll gain valuable skills and experience in writing bids and building relationships with funding bodies.

This is a flexible home-based role with some attendance at meetings, including online meetings and events. We provide out-of-pocket travel expenses should this be required.
