Orchard Restoration Volunteer

Opportunity image

We’re passionate about making the countryside in Gloucestershire a better place for everyone to enjoy. Our vibrant team of volunteers inspire people to care for the countryside and enjoy the benefits it brings wherever they live.

CPRE Gloucestershire and the Ernest Cook Trust are working to stop the decline of traditional orchards in Gloucestershire. Orchards provide a variety of environmental benefits such as creating vibrant ecosystem, helping regenerate degraded land as well as providing a food source to communities. In this role you will undertake a variety of orchard restoration tasks, under the instruction of local orchard expert, Tim Andrews.

Help stop the decline of Gloucestershire’s orchards by volunteering at our orchard restoration sessions!
