Trustee (Lancashire, Liverpool City Region and Greater Manchester)
We’re passionate about making the countryside and green spaces in Lancashire, Liverpool City Region and Greater Manchester better for everyone to enjoy. Our vibrant team of volunteers inspire people to care for the countryside and enjoy the benefits it brings wherever they live.
Volunteering with us is a fantastic way to help us champion environmental issues such as the climate emergency, renewable energy, biodiversity and sustainable transport. We're currently working on delivering the GM Ringway Project, a new walking trail for Greater Manchester, after successfully bidding for £250,000 from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, and getting communities involved with hedgerow creation and maintenance at four locations across our region as part of CPRE's national Hedgerow Heroes project.
With your support we can do even more! As a trustee you’ll have an essential role in contributing towards the future direction of our charity.
Our friendly team will provide you with training and support to develop in your role. You’ll gain valuable skills and experience in charity governance. Attendance at Trustee Board meetings is encouraged - these are currently held on Tuesday mornings, 9 times per year.
