Regional Chair (East of England)

Volunteering with us is a great way to champion our rural communities and landscapes through sustainable development and other environmental issues such as the climate emergency, renewable energy and biodiversity.

The role of a Regional Chair is to convene regular regional group meetings of representatives from local CPREs and to support and lead regional activities as required.

As Regional Chair you’ll contribute towards the building of the CPRE movement across the country. We’ll be reviewing the structure and governance of our charity in 2022, and it’s possible that the scope and responsibilities of this role may change. Regional Chairs will contribute towards this review, so we’re looking for applicants with a flexible attitude and a positive approach to change.

We’ll give you a thorough induction and support you in your volunteering role. This role is available provisionally for up to a three-year term, with a maximum of two three-year terms.
