Trustee (National CPRE)
Could you join our board and help us to achieve our vision and ensure the long-term success of our charity?
We believe that the countryside is for everyone and that a thriving beautiful countryside rich in nature will play a crucial role in our nation's response to the climate emergency. We work hard to enhance, promote and protect the countryside, including the communities within it.
Our lively board of trustees leads and shapes CPRE to ensure the charity inspires people to care for and enjoy the benefits of the countryside wherever they live.
We aim to influence national policy by influencing government, as well as raising the profile of countryside issues, both nationally and locally such as the climate crisis, renewable energy, truly affordable housing, loss of green belt, regenerative farming, land management and sustainable transport.
With your support we can do even more! As a Trustee you'll have an essential role in contributing towards the future direction of CPRE.
The deadline for applications is Tuesday 29th March.
The Nominations Committee will carry out a short-listing process and identify the candidates who most clearly match the requirements of the role. These candidates will be invited for an informal interview on Wednesday 6 April, either online or at our office in London.
